Your Crucial to Our Mission:

VVWP could not exist without volunteers. Volunteers serve as aides to help veterans write or create art; they also may type manuscripts for writers. Some serve as writing group leaders where veterans can come together for critiques, share their stories and know that they are not alone. Some serve as VA Voluntary Service committee members to represent the VVWP. Other volunteers serve on the VVWP Board of Directors. Others are Veterans’ Voices champions who help organize fundraisers to spread the word about our life-saving work. Veterans’ Voices editors are professional writers and proofreaders who are volunteers. Without our dedicated volunteers, Veterans’ Voices could not continue to exist as it has since 1952.
