To This I Vow

                                                       When I look at you
                                                       I see.
                                                       A reflection of
                                                       the man in me.

                                                       We've seen madness
                                                       We've seen strife.
                                                       Yet though it all
                                                       you've remained my wife.

                                                       The vows we spoke
                                                       were not just words.
                                                       They were a bond
                                                       seldom heard.

                                                       Through thick & thin
                                                       our vows reflect.
                                                       You've won my heart
                                                       and my respect.
           
                                                       No matter time's
                                                       effect with age.
                                                       With every grey
                                                       we'll turn a page.

                                                       With every line
                                                       in etched in skin.
                                                       The love I crave
                                                       is what's within.

                                                       From the day we met
                                                       that night foretold.
                                                       What history was meant
                                                       as we grew old.

                                                       I'll cherish you
                                                       as you do I.
                                                       From this moment forth
                                                       to the day we die.

                                                       With my hand in yours
                                                       I'll guide our way.
                                                       Protecting this love
                                                       that I shall never betray.

                                                       I've given this body
                                                       and soul to thee.
                                                       Your happiness is the only
                                                       thing that matters to me.
