A Warrior's Bane By: Lawrence W Langman (c) As I close my eyes a whisper calls. Across the visions then war befalls. There's no escape it's etched engraved. My minds not able forever enslaved. Once my eyes close the movie starts. My heart still beats my soul departs. These burdens carried a heavy weight. All innocence gone it desecrates. A mind so young so full of vision. Right or wrong a moral collision. Danced with demons fought with dreams. I've battled and cried amidst all the screams. I open my eyes to escape away from a tired soul. Grasping ahold of sanity afraid of losing control.
