A Hero Raised By: Lawrence W Langman (c) Inside raging rivers the storms befell. Grounds dost quake The souls won't quell. The mind enraged by the dire deeds. One's heart cries out a conscience grieves. Some sights engulf when eyes espy. A child's tears wiped from their eyes. A mother's bane of a life bereaved. Forever in limbo without a reprieve. A hero they walked right out of a dream. Just a moment in time a miracle redeemed. Such visions of hope held in high regard. Now carried within a permanent scar. Proudly she mourns these glorious few. Proclaiming their worth is how she gets through. Them bugles now play that melodious tune. These lives so exalted taken too soon. A haloed now placed and wings attached. A warrior now seen with valor unmatched.
