and saidsoldiers in world war two

came home toroaring crowds, cheering them homethey arrived with the unit they left with,

the brothers

they fought with.He then wiped his wet eyesand with a chocked voicesaid.

When nam soldiers came homethey arrived alone

somewere accosted and spat on.treated like a thief

afraid

we'd be arrested.he lowered his voice

andalmost in a whisper

saidnobody cared
