In The Depths Of Sorrow By; Lawrence W Langman (c) The waves we sailed a crossed that night. Tossed our ships from left to right. Skies were as black as the holes in otter space. Within a blink of an eye we all could be erased. We followed the stars to reach our destination. With skies clouded over hindering our navigation. Every man at the ready every sails been unfurled. We're destined for greatness as we sailed around the world. Three ships we had in total as our stories go to page. Never to be forgotten as Poseidon showed his rage. Suddenly we're tossed like a pebble in the sand. In the grips of Mother Nature gives forth of her demands. Over as we capsize to our watery graves below. Our lives flash by before us with it's speed set onto slow. Be still my aching heart for my maiden left ashore. I will miss your tender touch with a smile that I adore. The ocean floor is now my bed sunlight I'll feel no more. On this day of August 25th in the year of our lord 1774.
