Together proud By Lawrence W Langman (c) I'm walking along these streets of stone. I'm contemplating my life I've sewn. Memories which, now flood my mind, A fog, a haze, erasing time. These years just seem to soar on by, The scars now show, from tears I cry Another page is set to turn, To think ahead, of lessons learned. Your loved ones now adorn your sides, Bringing in this new years pride. The ball now set, descending slow, Our taxing lives, the bill now owed. Now celebrate these days now past, New roads now, do grace, at last The sunrise brings a shinning grace, Of peace and love, we should embrace!! All the colors that drapes these skins, Should come together, impending win! As one we fight and shall never fall, Apart we crumble, without that wall.. I say to thee, across this land. In peace we sleep, our feet in sand. Lets stand, as one this country proud This land we love, together loud!!
