If only I had a loaf of bread
a thick bowl of soup
clean water to drink and a clean mattress
My world would be right 
But if I am to live 
LiVE - I must fight 


They let the dogs out again last night 
Screams penetrated the air 
No brightness no light nothing but doom
                   And despair 


I look around my surroundings
I flick lice off my scalp
My teeth have all but fallen out 
I no longer look female I no longer look male
I am the walking dead- bones- skin so pale 

The lead tipped leather 
Of the lashing whip
The tormenter  speaking in German 
Seems so content 

I know of those whom have killed thrmselves
But that is not our way 
Because life is a gift from GOD
That is what I say 

My (our)suffering shall end 
Running my finger across my scars
If I can just make another day
Freedom I pray won’t be far

So I disassociate myself
To another time to another place
I don’t look at the Nazi
I know he has a sneer on his face 

The pain will last for sometime
I know because I’ve had it before
So I picture myself with my family whom is gone
And  look at the blood on the floor
