Magical Forest By: Lawrence W Langman (c) Fleet of foot with hot fiery flames Elves & Fairies playing their games Druids protect the solemn lands the fields rich soil to all the sands Ogres stand fast against the trees Sprites dance on a Summer's breeze The forest's Oaks & Elms come alive A touch of her wand now shall revive As the Gnomes till their fertile fields The Dragons above are their shields Their eyes keen of vision like a hawk Those cries from a warning squawk Talons and scales as a fire ignites A scent on the breeze now incites They scatter and fled into the hedge A smell of a human they now dread Men with bows and arrows assail A loss of another we shall bewail So they cloak into shadow & mist Only one wish so they may coexist So into the other dimension they ran For this is way, since time has began Secreted amongst the grass & leaves These are strands of the Fate's now to weave
