Dear John Letter

It feels like just yesterday that I received a Dear John letter from a girlfriend of mine while overseas in Viet Nam.  Sharing this information may help others out there with their past emotions.  My girl and I went steady for three years and then I received my Dear John letter while in a war zone in Viet Nam.  Yes, it hurt me to the core, but I had to move on with my duties and keep a strong faith of doing my job and being a strong brother.  Through God’s love I got over it.
