Paths not taken By: Lawrence W Langman (c) We are children of this Earth. From this dirt which gave us birth. From the dust we rise above. Into the heavens on wings of doves. With our wills of which we strive. We fight our demons to stay alive. Each day we rise to meet the sun. Stopping the madness from coming undone. Carrying a torch of fiery flames. With vigor and vim taking no names. Inside one's eyes we delve into. Seeking solace our souls pursue. Paths we follow forks we choose. Laid down in place to utterly confuse. Do I turn left or do I turn right? Do I dare to run or stand and fight?
