Eternal Life



There is a place where we may dwell

A home that’s eternal, where sages foretell

Of angels and sunlight, of music and song

Where time never ends, and days linger on



Choirs singing praise to the Father of light

Celebration and banquets all through the night

Where the sun always shines and love never ends

Where we’ll be with our loved ones, our family and friends

No matter how small your gift for the King

Just give what you can and he’ll love what you bring

For the Father loves giving more than the gift

And he treasures the giver whose heart’s not adrift



Whose heart is for God and for those that he loves

His treasures on earth and in heaven above

The greatest of gifts that he offers us here

Is the gift of life filled with love and not fear



For the nature of God is love, you see

His love is for all, for you and for me

Love never ends when we pass from this place

It follows us on till we meet face to face



We find that our lives, whether brief or quite long

May lead us to heaven and where we belong

For destiny calls us to our home high above

May we answer the call with lives full of love.
