“I Am Not Ashamed”

Christ died for me and my sin,

I’m so glad that He’s come in,

And yes, I am forgiven today,

‘Cause Jesus saw fit to make a way,

I’m not ashamed,

‘Cause Jesus lives,

I’m not ashamed of this love He gives,

I’m not ashamed to spread His love,

And point others to God above,

I’m not ashamed of His gospel

that helps people into his likeness grow,

I’m not ashamed,

and I let others know,

How I accepted Jesus long ago,

and all is well,

Only He can save from the gulfs of hell,

I’m not ashamed,

As I witness and plead,

‘Cause Jesus wasn’t ashamed of me

when He did bleed,

so that I may plant his very seeds,

I’m not ashamed to meet other’s needs,

I’m not ashamed.
