"Ultra Aquilonem"

Visually she demands your attention! Simultaneously, internally, she gives voice to MULTIPLE causes, areas of concern and communities that are so very near and dear to each and EVERY one of us. 
A symbol for all of us that fight to survive that which has forever transformed our existence, and almost brought about the end, for some of us at one point in time!?  ;
.....the significance, you ask..!?; 
Each ribbon color in the camouflage pattern represents a “support” or “recognition” for a different “cause”….ie., PTSD, MST, ADHD, TBI’s, eating disorders, domestic abuse, loss of pregnancy, substance abuse, sobriety, child birth, suicide prevention, support for our troops, POW/MIA, etc; 
Now, This particular compass is personal, representative of  many battles I've fought, hardships endured, and challenges I still struggle with today! 
....black, white, red, burgundy, orange, yellow, green, light green, blue, light blue, teal, turquoise, purple, lavender, grey, silver, copper. An overload of PINK for breast cancer awareness; but mainly used as a representation of femininity! The compass itself containing The Marine Corps colors, because I  AM one of the few, the proud!

My greatest wish!? I pray you, and whoever else needs it, finds their compass, and may it forever guide you to YOUR North!!! 
No matter what battle you face...when you face it, or how often it rears its ugly head...!?
FIGHT, FACE FIRST!!! 
….keep going!! 
Don't look back!!! I know inevitably you will, but just remember, the rear view mirror is smaller than the windshield for a reason!! 
We Marine's have a saying; "Improvise, adapt and overcome!!!!"
So, Do EXACTLY THAT and all the while, Steady your gaze North! Remind yourself, “Failure is not an option!” Besides, all those “perceived” failures!? They’re merely stepping stones to building a successful future!! Mere speed bumps on the road to gold!!!…
