Reflections By: Lawrence W Langman (c) How many faces in mirror are perceived? One for yourself hidden to grieve. Another for family to hold your head high. One for your friends so they never ask why. So many masks you must juggle each day. Exhaustion and pain leads each so astray. Through bloodshot eyes you carry your load. People and promises and plans to uphold. So few that can see the struggles are real. Like living in limbo a life that's surreal. Daylight fading into darkness now looms. Beneath all that sadness the madness consumes. Like reaching for glory but missing one rung. Falling from heights your no longer young. Scratching and clawing your way to survive. Searching for answers or a pill that revives.
