The Strings Of Fate By: Lawrence W Langman (c) We seek desires though the night. With bloodshot eyes our tears block sight. Hearts dost pound like raging streams. Walk through raindrops beneath our screams. Our lives now taken in broad daylight. With surging veins we feel contrite. Nerve endings on fire we feel the heat. Our echoing pulse demands defeat. We stand and rise up like a phoenix reborn. Yet our heads hang low our self worth forlorn. Each day we battle each day we strive. Strength from each other keeps us alive. We search for some hope wherever it lies. Hiding behind masks our face in disguise. Behind doors we cower like an animal ashamed. We seek for our honor & pride once proclaimed. We dance with the devils and angels that grieve. We fight for our lives yet they never achieve. Grab a hold of your hopes and latch on to your dreams. For our futures are clouded they've killed our esteems. Rise up through the ashes stand up to be flamed Let no warrior stand alone dragons can't be tamed. As I hold out my hand grip yours skin in mine. We'll stand for our cause as our souls intertwine. Nary a soul will block our destined demands. We fight for our demise as the Fates hold our strands. Tempered as the steel as this anvil sings. The touch of her flesh on wings it dost sting. Hold on to your visions and goals that run deep. Our families that mourn as they share in our grief.
