Dear sons, I want to tell you about my life and my inner most thoughts

I want to say, how much you mean to me

I want to say, how proud I am of you

But…not in too many words



I want to say, how fulfilled you made my life

I want to say, how happy you made me when you sailed and charted your own life’s course.

I want to say, “how I love to hear you call me Dad”

But…not in too  many words



I want to say, I tried hard to provide

I want to say, I did my best to pass the test

I want to remember the fun times

But…not in too many words



I want to remember the day you came into my life

I want to remember when you shed your diaper for big boy pants

I want to remember your first shave

But…not in too many words



I want to say, I love you
