Choices By: Lawrence W Langman (c) As you stand before your maker to answer for all one's deeds. Your life just flashes by you your soul now sadly pleads. The scales begin to tilt to the left and now the right. A story of rights and wrongs parts I wish I could rewrite. As you dissect every moment like a surgeon's steady hands. The heavens make their choice the Fates now chose a strand. The skies now open up and the depths of Hell explodes. A light from above descends fire retracts and then implodes. No matter in what's believed your mind is of your making. Those morals you've created can leave you now forsaking. If you walk the path devoutly or an agnostic true of hearts. All good and evil lives within be careful which one imparts. You don't have to be religious to behold a solemn soul. Goodness is taught and learned enlightenment is always the goal. Do unto others as it's written and learn to stay in the lines. March to a different drum it's part of a great design. Don't judge in what you believe we all have our own beliefs. We breathe in the same air the joys and all the griefs. Respect and honor the past as you embrace a new tomorrow. Take comfort in remembering you're not alone in all that sorrow. You don't need to pray to be righteous or holy and absolved from sin. Staying true to your own self is where choices need to begin.
