Souls of Denial By: Lawrence W Langman (c) Fireflies lost in foggy flight. Their mysteries lie just out of sight. Where history's dwell upon ancient runes. Souls departed way too soon. Shadows are cloaked in tombs down deep. The paths once chosen hence now they reap. Scorpions and Asps now guard within. Their sins of the past beginning to end. With a scepter's Ankh brandishing in gold. Status and symbols for all to behold. Beware of the Gods ancient and new. For all that once reigned brings doubters their due. For their heads served upon a wooden spike. Rained from the heavens as arrows dost strike. Magic beget all curses aligned with the stars. From Venus to Neptune Jupiter to Mars. Holy are the Pharaohs, pariahs and Kings. The points of their lances dipped in poison it stings. Riding chariots of gold and silver inlaid. Brining wars to their lands and debts are repaid.
