To inculcate
To combat
To make right
To promote
To safeguard
To transmit
To consecrate
To sanctify.
Notes: Written as an homage to the American Legion National Commander's visit to San Francisco. It's the foundation of what drives the American Legion. When documented here with 14 (fourteen) action verbs, it seems like a mighty tall order. Are these action verbs just words??? Do we know what they are and what they mean - to inculcate, to consecrate or to sanctify??
