When I become depressed
and filled with stress,
I often turn to my fellow humans
for answers so I can rest.

But man can't always help when
confusing things fill my head,

so I turn to God for my answers
instead.

God is the only one
who fully understands,
because I am His.
He made me with His hands.

I pray each day to Him

for guidance to get through.
God holds my hand and I have
Him in my heart, too.

The highest place
on earth that I can be
is in prayer to God,
down on my knees.

When I trust God,
I know I'll find
my true hope
in troubled times.
