LOVE IS LIKE A FLOWER GARDEN

By Vera Marie Miller, Army

Writing Type: Poem

Love is like a flower garden.
Seeds must be planted deep enough
For tiny plants to sprout,
Then watered with consistent care.
It takes pride, joy, and friendship
To cultivate the tender roots
That grow deep and strong.
With consideration and timely care
Blooms will be large and lovely.
The scent will be sweet and heady
If loving hands give a tender touch
And gentle kisses flow freely.
